Ethical Persuasion / Negotiations / Influencing
Study and apply these principles in Real Time Scenarios with other like minded people! This Mastermind will empower you to stay in integrity using the principles of Persuasion, Negotiating, and Influencing. 

  1. Ethical persuasion applies to more than just selling. You will be able to treat others with respect, understanding, caring, and fairness in order to understand yourself and other's. You will learn a three step process for ethical persuasion.
    1. Explore the other person's viewpoint.
    2. Explain your viewpoint.
    3. Create resolutions.

  2. We will practice the TARES Test by Drs. Baker and Martinson a 5 point test to determine the degree to which our behaviors fit with the generally accepted practices of ethical persuasion.
    1. Truthfulness of the message.
    2. Authenticity of the persuader.
    3. Respect for the persuades.
    4. Equity of the persuasive appeal.
    5. Social responsibility for the common good.

  3. We will study and apply four elements of principled negotiation:
    1. Separate the people from the problem.
    2. Focus on interest, not positions.
    3. Invent options for mutual gain.
    4. Insist on using objective criteria.

  4. Ethical Influencer:
    1. Transparency is the word the way and standard.
    2. It is important to know who you are and what you stand for.
